14th Church Anniversary
August 29, 2007

God's Promise Christian Center celebrated its 14th anniversary last August 5, 2007 at Dictado 1 Resort, Santa Rosa, Laguna with the theme "Building Bridges: Reaching Out to the Ends of the Earth". In line with this we invited our relatives and friends to join on the much awaited event of our church's growth in Christ. Our outreaches from Biñan, Daang Bakal and Pooc performed their gift given talents to God. Even our Neaniskos (youth) rendered a song number for Jesus. After lunch was served, a heavy down pour of rain was experienced but with prayers and God's covering of protection and love, rain suddenly ceased. We proceeded in our water baptism which is one of the highlights of our yearly celebration led by Pastor Nahum Taverner and our brothers Mel Alojado and Ronnie Amoranto. Thirteen believers were water baptized and seventeen souls accepted Jesus Christ during the altar call.
The celebration did not end there, Neaniskos headed by Bro. Jean Austin Rodriguez prepared games for the young and the young at hearts. Kids from different outreaches enjoyed the whole day event getting acquainted with each other and had fun swimming all afternoon.
